Permanent work locations will be as follows: 1 incumbent at the Candlestick solar site in Madison, Fl, 1 incumbent at the Persimmon solar site in Madison, Fl. and 1 incumbent at the Sturgeon solar site in Jasper, Fl. Once these new solar sites are commissioned, incumbents will be transferred to their permanent work locations. Descriptions of Job Hierarchy Levels: First Level Employees at this level solve problems with general supervision. Incumbents are expected to develop skills, and the ability to work with greater independence. They have knowledge of fundamental concepts and procedures. Job Title:Renewables Tech I, II, III Job Code: J9916, J9915, J9914 FLSA Status: Non-Exempt - Bargaining Unit Job Summary: The Renewables Tech is primarily responsible for providing support to multiple PV plant sites located throughout Duke Energy Florida's service territory on a continual/on-demand basis, in order to troubleshoot/resolve equipment issues such as emergency repairs, design change requirements, and equipment modifications and to establish O&M support for new plant(s) start-up as well as long term operation and maintenance.Role will include work scheduling, maintenance, equipment installation, and start-up support. Position will also be responsible for supporting existing equipment performance and reliability, work to support equipment testing schedules and assigning contracts, technicians, and engineers to appropriate tasks while developing processes to improve O&M output quality.
