This role is part of the Talent Team, Center of Excellence. In this role you will support key learning initiatives allowing our associates to develop themselves and their careers in ways that are aligned with our business strategy. Whether it be through on-line on-demand content, live instructor-led training, or anything in between, at TU, we want to give our associates access to the development they need, when they need it, and in ways they want to consume it.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5-7 years' experience in learning and development
  • Experience developing eLearning modules and writing instructor led lesson plans incorporating adult learning principles
  • Experienced visual content designer with a strong grasp of Development tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Camtasia
  • Experience in process management for the training development lifecycle, from initial design through delivery and implementation (ADDIE
  • Experience with instructional design experience preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of learning modalities and learning styles.
  • Experience with LMSs - Cornerstone preferred.
  • An ability to be flexible with working hours from time-to-time to accommodate for collaboration with other countries and you will be comfortable using web-based communication tools (such as Microsoft Office 365, Zoom) to work with other team members across the globe.

Impact You'll Make:

  • Conduct organizational needs analysis and lead the development of appropriate programs to ensure all employees have the knowledge, skills, and experience to perform their roles to the highest standard and meet the future needs of the company.
  • Apply tested instructional design theories, practice, and methods to build training modules based on existing content, investigative research, and documented curriculum.
  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content by utilizing technical and creative writing skills to engage course participants.
  • Ensure approach and corresponding materials align closely with the learning and developmental needs by region, department, and job/skill levels.
  • Co-create and curate content with SMEs and other learning colleagues into learning journeys and pathways in LMS (Cornerstone) and be familiar with current and future trends in adult learning and motivation.
  • Produce eLearning courses on time and align those programs with an overall learning outcomes strategy. Use Learning team tools (Camtasia, Adobe Premiere, Moodle) to record and produce training videos. Use learning tools (Articulate, microlearning, etc.) to create eLearning modules.
  • Support the roll out of learning experiences to ensure sustainability of key objectives.
  • With your facilitation experience, you will conduct training, while also managing how the learners can still experience and access the content in the flow of their work.
  • Use the LMS and other content creation tools to build assessments for classroom, virtual, eLearning, and distance learning curriculum.
  • Create, develop, and maintain learning SharePoint pages, course materials, facilitator guides, instructor manuals, learner guides, hand-outs, reference materials and other materials and/or utilize purchased training programs that meet identified learning goals.
  • Integrate adult learning best practices and thought leadership into eLearning courses.

Pay Scale Information : The U.S. base salary range for this position is $82,700.00 - $120,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
