As part of Detection and Measurement, CUES is the world's leading developer of water, wastewater, and storm water inspection equipment. With CCTV cameras, pre-built vehicles, and software for pipeline inspection and rehabilitation, we improve the safety and reliability of our water infrastructure systems.

How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)

SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As a Cloud Solutions Specialist you will implement solutions for customers based on best practices utilizing internally developed software and cloud components.

What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)

While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:

  1. Collaborate with customers to gather and understand their technical and business requirements for cloud-based solutions.
  • Implement AWS-based solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of customers, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
  • Implement and deploy cloud solutions on AWS using various services including EC2, S3, AppStream, VPC
  • Configure and manage Windows environments, MS SQL Server databases, and IIS web servers to support the deployment of software applications.
  • Collaborate with internal development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with AWS services and other technologies.
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, project managers, and support teams to ensure successful implementation and deployment.
  • Provide Project Management expertise and technical support to customers throughout the implementation process.
  • Create documentation for client workflows throughout the implementation process including configuration details, task-dependent workflows, and relevant technical information for internal and customer reference.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in cloud computing, AWS services, security platforms, processes and cloud-based services.

What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)

We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:

Required Experience

  • Proven experience implementing and deploying AWS-based solutions for customers, with a strong understanding of AWS services like EC2.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing Windows environments, MS SQL Server databases, and IIS web servers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.

Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and programming languages is beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues in complex cloud environments.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner) is a strong plus.

Travel & Working Environment

  • Hybrid work schedule near Universal Studios, Orlando
