Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor Behavioral Health

Inova Behavioral Health Services, situated at the Inova Loudoun Hospital Cornwall Campus, is actively seeking a full-time compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse Unit Supervisor to join our dynamic team on the day shift. Our nurses work 12-hour shifts, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm with a rotating weekend. Sign-on Bonus & Relocation Available for external candidates.

The Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor serves as a front line leader who is accountable for delivering highly reliable results related to quality and best practices to improve the clinical operations of the unit. Embraces, uses and understands the research behind nursing practice and quality tools. Supports unit based shared governance and decentralized decision making structures and processes. Acts as a role model who leads by example in delivering "Service Always" and in making patient experience a priority on units of responsibility. Minimum Qualifications:

• Certification - Basic Life Support; Completion of a revised Charge Nurse workshop within 3 months of hire
• Licensure - Licensed Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Experience - 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Education - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or Associate's Degree RN within 1 year of completing their BSN)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous inpatient behavioral health experience preferred.
