Overview:

HGA is seeking a talented Construction Administrator to support our West Coast team and ensure the successful execution of complex architectural projects!

HGA's Allied Disciplines team of specifiers, construction administrators, and cost estimators is seeking a talented Construction Administrator to join our team! You will play a central role in coordinating construction documentation, facilitating communication between project stakeholders, and upholding HGA's standards of technical excellence. We are looking for a detailoriented professional with strong communication skills and a commitment to quality.

In this role you will:

    Manage and coordinate workflow of process tasks including recording submittals, requests for information (RFIs), and other construction documentation issued during the construction administration phase.
  • Assist in preparation, assembly, and submission of construction contract documents during construction administration.
  • Perform process tasks using Newforma or other web-based project management software.
  • Support and manage the advancement and curation of HGA's construction administration process.
  • Act as a liaison between our design professionals, contractors and our client representatives during the project construction phase.
  • Assist project teams with state of California OSPHD/HCAI and DSA documentation administrative requirements.

You will need to have:

  • High School degree or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in construction administration project management.
  • Experience with state of California's OSPHD/HCAI and DSA administration process and requirements.
  • Ability to read and understand contract document submittal requirements, contractor submittals, and requests for information (RFIs).
  • Familiarity with standard General Conditions of the Construction Contract, Division 00, Contracting Requirements, and Division 01, General Requirements specifications.
  • Experience with Newforma or other web-based construction project management software like Procore.
  • Familiarity with Division 01, General Requirements, and technical specifications.
  • Experience with working with AIA Documents and workflows.
  • High attention to detail, excellent organization skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving skills and ability to multitask.

  • Initiative/be a self-starter.

Salary Information:

The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Individuals in this role working more than 24 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in HGA's robust benefit programs which include an annual bonus and success sharing bonus program, 401(k) guaranteed contribution, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as PTO and short- and long-term disability programs. Salary Range: $63,300 - 72,100.
