SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES The Manager, IT PMO oversees people, processes and initiatives as they relate to the Information Technology for South State Bank. Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to teams(s) while partnering with business and executive stakeholders to accomplish IT PMO program objectives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ensures compliance with all bank policies and procedures as well as state, federal, and regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for assisting the team in the establishment and management of IT PMO Standards, processes and resource management.
- Responsible for assisting Leadership and Team Members with the IT PMO intake processes, portfolio management process and IT project management tools and best practices.
- Responsible for assisting Leadership and Team Members with IT PMO reporting.
- Directly manages IT PMO staff members.
- Accomplishes human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
- Manages project intake and prioritization to include use of available resources and tools.
- Supports the successful delivery of IT projects / programs so that they are within scope, resources, budget, and timelines through effective facilitation, tracking, and reporting.
- Track and report on project portfolio performance, providing comprehensive and prioritized view of all projects.
- Streamlines communications between project sponsors, team members, and stakeholders.
- Assists on the maintenance of processes to ensure accurate IT PMO Roadmaps for IT Portfolio work efforts and projects.
- Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, and certification REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience: 8-10+ years in both Project Management and Financial Services; previous staff management experience
- Certifications/Specific Requirements:
- Project Management, Management Proficiency, Coaching, Supervision, Staffing, Developing and Tracking Budgets, Process Improvement, Self-Development, Planning, Performance Management, Reporting & Metrics, IT Risk
- Advanced knowledge MS Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, and SharePoint
- Advanced knowledge of SSB Project Management Tools (i.e. Service Now)
RECOMMENDED ADDITIONAL TRAINING:
- Annual required compliance training
- Cross departmental training, Management/Leadership
PHYSICAL DEMANDS WORK ENVIRONMENT Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time. Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, and reports. WORK ENVIRONMENT Telecommuting roles no matter if hybrid or 100% full time telecommuting must have a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions. They must also have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use of cellular data (hot spot). Cable or fiber connections are preferred. Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology is delivered. Travel may be required to come to meetings as needed.
In accordance with Colorado law: Colorado pay for this position is anticipated to be between $113,320.00 - $181,018.00 , actual offers to be determined based on applicant's skills, experience and education.
