Job Description:

Position Summary:

The Fraud Investigations Intern will gain experience in the Fraud Investigations field by providing support to the FRAML team. This position will assist with a variety of special projects and support functions designed to achieve the overall strategic objectives of the Fraud department.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work with Fraud Investigations team and other appropriate business units to create simple fraud-prevention guides that are shared when members open accounts
  • Develop fraud awareness modules teaching members how to spot phishing and secure their accounts
  • Help create timely awareness campaigns (emails, posters, social posts) for seasonal campaigns (tax season, holidays, etc.)
  • Create materials frontline staff can use to educate customers during interactions
  • Work with Fraud Investigations and various business units to incorporate departmental reporting into the fraud monitoring system
  • Create standardized reporting templates for fraud investigations to streamline documentation
  • Create scorecards for various quality reviews and assist with completion of quality reviews
  • SharePoint projects - adding resources, maintenance, etc.
  • Additional projects as needed

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word)

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Currently attending a college or university and have taken intermediate level courses typically in the third year of study.
  • Pursuit of degree in Criminal Justice preferred
