GHC-SCW is looking for an IT Enterprise Applications Manager to lead our Epic application strategy, and drive innovation that enhances the member and patient experience. Under the general guidance, direction, and supervision of the IT Enterprise Applications Director, the IT Enterprise Applications Manager will set strategy for and manage the activities of the GHC-SCW IT Enterprise Applications department. The incumbent will be responsible for managing all enterprise applications including but not limited to all Epic applications. The incumbent is responsible for oversight of project planning, deployment of appropriate staff resources, performing required maintenance, system builds and upgrades of software as well as ongoing assessment and analysis of workflows in which the software is used. Additionally, the incumbent will provide leadership, guidance and supervision to departmental staff. The incumbent is also responsible for overseeing the projects and tasks assigned to each Enterprise Applications team.


To carry out these responsibilities, the incumbent will be required to have a working knowledge of the applications and systems the department supports as well as an extensive familiarity with the daily operational and business needs of the clinic and administration teams dependent upon those applications and systems. The IT Enterprise Applications Manager serves as the main point of contact for all applications and systems under the incumbent's area of responsibility. The IT Enterprise Applications Manager will supervise and conduct complex clinical/business process analyses, needs assessments and related analyses. The incumbent strives to ensure that clinical information technology solutions meet the clinical/business initiatives of GHC-SCW. The IT Enterprise Applications Manager has a strong emphasis on ensuring that applications are implemented and maintained in a manner that enhances GHC-SCW's members' experience.

JOB SPECIFIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS



  1. Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Three (3) of relevant information technology, direct healthcare or related experience required. An additional two (2) years of experience in systems analysis, or direct healthcare delivery or operations is also required. Experience with HMO, practice management or an electronic medical record system is desirable.
  3. Demonstrated leadership experience in an insurance or healthcare environment is highly desirable.
  4. Experience with clinical systems analysis and/or implementation is required.
  5. Familiarity with Clinical Information Systems applications including electronic medical records, scheduling or insurance-based systems. Experience with Epic Applications is required.
  6. Experience in project planning and project management required.
  7. Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite including word processing, presentation, database, spreadsheet, and email programs required.
  8. Ability to maintain organizational and PHI confidentiality. Knowledge of HIPAA requirements.
  9. Ability to be culturally sensitive and work with diverse populations.
  10. Ability to work in a consultative approach with users in assessing needs and requirements.
  11. Experience giving presentations to management, staff and external audiences required.
  12. Ability to act as a meeting facilitator required.
  13. Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities required.
  14. Effective planning, organizational and communication skills required.
  15. Provide positive influence in potentially high stress situations required.
  16. Ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization while providing excellent customer service required.
  17. Ability to work independently and be results oriented required.
  18. Ability to manage multiple priorities required. Commitment to meeting deadlines required
  19. Possession of a valid Wisconsin driver license with a good driving record and/or ability to provide own transportation in order to travel to clinic sites is required.
  20. Ability to use a keyboard for the majority of the workday. Ability to see at near and far range.
  21. Ability to work occasional off hours, nights and weekends as required
