Job Description

The CRE Wilton PMO is part of the CRE Projects team which reports to the Head of CRE Wilton. The

As part of the CRE Wilton Projects team you will lead the Wilton Region Project Managers in their daily work by setting up and controlling the performance of the project portfolios and facilitating the control of this in a review methodology.

Role and responsibilities

  • Set up, manage, control and facilitate the performance of the (project) portfolios.
  • Set up, manage and control the CRE Building Generation Process (BGP).
  • Direct management for a staff of project managers and owners representatives.
  • Guard standards and ensure adherence to the BGP process through regular project review and deep dives and follow up on actions.
  • Develop capital projects portfolio budgets and manage to stakeholder aligned priorities.
  • Provide effective project communication (for the project portfolios) by setting up structures and platforms to share and structure information.
  • Assist in the creation of management reports for projects in the project portfolios and set up and manage collaboration between the Global Projects department and the local team in the project portfolios.
  • Structurally and continuously initiate, drive and implement process improvements.
  • Organize, facilitate and actively participate the Wilton Region Project Maturity Assessments and site Organizational Maturity Assessments.
  • Maintain and support the governance structure and processes required to facilitate decision making and escalation of risks, issues, and changes to scope, cost, and schedule.
  • Prepare, organize and facilitate in Site team meetings and Participate in Global meetings and translate the outcomes into a report out for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare, organize and facilitate project lessons learned meetings. Translating the outcome into a report out for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the CRE team/ department by interpreting created reports, challenge the outcomes, raising suggestions and implementing new processes and structures.
  • Create a standardized way of working including documentation.
  • Participate in the Global Projects team off site meetings.
Education and experience
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, such as Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • 10+ years of experience in technical project support is strongly preferred; preference for semi-conductor or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Experience managing large capital projects.
  • Experience in Construction Management.
  • Experience with direct manager of people.
  • Knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Knowledge of collaboration tools (e.g. Sharepoint, Teams);
  • Experience with implementation of change and improvement projects or ability to do so;
  • Affinity with structuring and financials for building project and real estate is an advantage.
Skills
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal);
  • Contract Negotiations and Construction Budgeting / Estimating
  • Working Knowledge of MEP, HVAC and Electrical Systems.
  • Pro-active personality who can deal with resistance;
  • Commitment to excellence;
  • Positive and flexible attitude in unplanned challenges in your daily work;
  • Pro-active and hands-on attitude;
