MTSI is seeking an Acquisition Project Manager . This positionprovidesdirectacquisition programand managementsupport as a key team member supportingUSAFWeapons SystemsProgram Office(SPO)activities, specifically the programMaterielLeaderandbranchchief engineer,on Eglin AFB, FL.Thesuccessful candidatewillinterfaceandcoordinate with multiple government leads andprime andother contractors within the USAF AFMC AFLCMCProgram Officeand enterprise.Journeyman to potentially senior level program management tasking is expected.
Responsibilities:
  • Work withGovernmentAcquisitionandPrimeContractorteamsin thecontracting for and execution of system development efforts during the TMRR and EMD phases of traditionaland non-traditional systemsacquisition programs. Supportpreparation forprogram milestonedecisions.
  • Provideconsultationand leadershipinprogramPMRs, IPTs and Working Groupsfor the materiel leaderas needed and directed.
  • Review and provide approval or acceptance recommendations for contract deliverables from prime contractors.
  • Oversee execution performance for government systems acquisition contracts.
Required Qualifications:
  • 3-10years of acquisition program management (and/or other acquisition-related areas)in the DoD Acquisition Communityor with a DoD Contractor.
  • Experience working in classified environments.
  • Bachelor'sdegreeor higherin management or businessrequired
  • Ability to interact and communicate in a professional manner with senior military and government leadership.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Operational military experience
  • Management experience
Clearance Requirements:
  • TS/SCIclearance required.
