Genesis10 is seeking a Technology Program Manager / Scrum Master - Hybrid position located in Phoenix, AZ. This is a 12-month contract opportunity and requires 3 days onsite.

Summary:

We are seeking a versatile Technology Program Manager / Project Manager and Scrum Master for a hybrid role based in Phoenix. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing technology project plans, coordinating between scrum teams, managing vendor implementations, and leading scrum ceremonies with a servant-leadership approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the end-to-end technology project plan, including coordination between all impacted scrum teams and dependencies.
  • Oversee SIT/Interconnectivity testing, Info Security launch conditions, penetration testing (SAST, DAST), performance testing, and technology operations knowledge transfer.
  • Assist vendor onboarding teams with the coordination of technology due diligence.
  • Partner with vendors to understand their implementation process and how it maps to internal Agile processes.
  • Facilitate vendor requirements gathering with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage technology project risks, issues, and activity progress to ensure project goals (e.g., deadline, scope, quality) are achieved; drive problem resolution and risk mitigation.
  • Partner with Technology leadership on resource allocation and planning for programs.
  • Ensure projects adhere to IT policies, standards, the company's Technology Project Management process, and SDLC.
  • Coordinate with the Architecture Scrum Master to plan the timing of required architectural governance checkpoints.
  • Provide technology updates to the PMO group for program and project-level reporting.
  • Partner with the PMO on project retrospectives and closure.
  • Drive Scrum ceremonies with the delivery team.
  • Support product owners by ensuring backlog refinement and readiness.
  • Ensure in-depth tracking of risks, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Execute the Program Increment (PI) objectives to support the strategy, vision, and roadmap.
  • Create metrics-driven insights into the delivery and execution of the team using relevant team-level metrics.
  • Provide visibility into gaps, issues, risks, and opportunities across Agile teams.
  • Measure user story execution and handle external relations with product or vendor partners.
  • Identify and remove team impediments, escalating where assistance is needed.
  • Partner with the Product Manager to improve the efficiency of the overall team and plan to prevent future obstacles.
  • Responsible for detailed Scrum-level metrics reporting from JIRA and other plugins.
