JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Model and enforce safe work practices to maintain compliance with company safety standards.
- Oversee parts department operations to ensure exceptional customer service and productivity.
- Develop and manage budgets; monitor financial and human resources to achieve performance goals.
- Control labor expenses and implement improvement plans for efficiency.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate parts personnel to ensure competence and engagement.
- Review and analyze monthly reports, including Core Record Deletions, Receivable Aging, Inventory Reconciliation, Hose Builds, Adjustments, Transfers, and Obsolescence.
- Investigate inventory issues and maintain accurate cycle counts across branches.
- Collaborate with Inventory Control for claims, direct shipments, and transportation coordination.
- Manage timecards for warehouse personnel and optimize delivery routes and maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate monthly and semi-annual returns for branch locations.
- Track and share warehouse performance metrics to drive accountability and improvement.
- Maintain warehouse efficiency, including equipment readiness and cleanliness.
- Maximize hose shop productivity to meet CAT's "30 minutes or less" initiative.
RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Parts Operations, Inventory and Warehouse Management with progressive supervisory experience and/or equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; both verbal and written.
- Strong project management, time management, team building and leadership skills; ability to work independently and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, MS Office, D365 and other position related software.
