Storage Engineer - HPE XP8 G2 Mainframe Specialist Employment Type: Contract W2 only Overview: Our client is seeking highly skilled Storage Engineers with deep expertise in supporting HPE XP8 G2 Mainframe storage systems. These Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) will augment the customer's team to ensure optimal performance and reliability of the mainframe storage infrastructure. Responsibilities: Support and maintain mainframe storage environments, including block, virtual tape, and object storage. Lead and mentor internal staff, providing technical guidance and best practices. Collaborate with development and architectural teams to deliver strategic solutions. Serve as a consultant for major projects, offering expert recommendations and troubleshooting. Qualifications: Proven experience with HPE XP8 G2 Mainframe storage systems. Strong knowledge of enterprise storage technologies and data center operations. Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
