Job Description: Microchip's Frequency and Timing Systems group is a world leader in precise time solutions and sets the world's standard for time. The company generates, distributes, and applies precise time for communications, aerospace/defense, IT infrastructure, and metrology industries. Microchip is seeking an entry-level Applications Engineer Intern to join our team. As an Application Engineer Intern you will support and grow the business in the US, Europe, and Asia. Position responsibilities include all aspects of applications engineering including designing system level solutions to meet customer requirements, developing technical demonstrations of systems solutions, and providing detailed technical proposals to meet customer requirements. The position will work closely with the product management, solutions architecture, and research and development teams as well as Microchip sales teams and global channel partners to develop technical solutions to meet diverse customer needs.
