Your role

As a Quality Assurance Technician, your mission is to be responsible for managing the gage calibration system . You will report to Quality Assurance Supervisor.

You will



  • Manage all aspects of the gage calibration system
  • Leads gage R&R activity for new and existing gages
  • Enter requisitions in Syspro for required services and other QA supplies
  • Track inventory of lab supplies needed for the equipment lab and rivet ops met labs
  • Access customer websites to retrieve customer scorecards when they are available and summarizes the data
  • Perform inventory movement transactions in Syspro
  • Assists the Quality Engineers and Supervisor when required
  • Create work instructions when required
  • Support the Quality department with record scanning
  • Support compliance with ISO9001/IATF16949 and customer specific requirements
  • Other related duties as required by the Quality Engineers or Quality Assurance Manager
  • Reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor, Specialist or Engineer

  • 1-year experience performing gage calibrations and using gage calibration software desired
  • Working knowledge of quality systems
  • Skills with Windows and MS Office applications
  • Experience with QDA and Syspro a plus
  • Team oriented with a positive attitude
  • Must maintain professional behavior in all situations
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, good interpersonal skills
  • Organized, with excellent attention to detail. Self-motivated with ability to prioritize assignments
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required
  • Some periodic lifting (under 20 pounds) will be necessary.

Job location
