The hospital's RN residency program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Practice Transition Accreditation Program and Pathway to Excellence, ensuring high-quality training for nurses. Under the supervision of the Director, the Wound Care RN performs the primary function of Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients at the Advanced Wound Center (AWC) in a case management model that includes a holistic approach to a defined and assigned case of wound care patients.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Job Requirements: Graduate from an accredited nursing program Minimum of 2 years medical/surgical experience OK Board of Nursing, RN License BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care Preferred Job Requirements: Wound Care experience
