Mission Support Specialist performing Executive Admin functions needed for a long term contract opportunity with SOC's client to work on-site in McLean, VA.



Mission Support Specialist - Executive Administrative Assistant

Office administrative support, records, travel logistics, and visitor management within a Directorate, Center or Office (D/C/O).

Responsibilities:



* Responsible for the day-to-day internal operations of a D/C/O in the agency.

* Provide administrative support, records, travel logistics, and visitor management.

* Provide broad operational support across multiple teams within a D/C/O, ensuring the smooth execution of routine administrative functions and adapting to evolving organizational priorities.

* Manage administrative workflows, coordinate schedules, track assignments, and facilitate communication among internal and external D/C/O stakeholders to ensure effective operations.

* Maintain records, assist with document preparation, and support logistical requirements, including meeting coordination, visitor arrangements, and travel planning.

* Monitor D/C/O task progression, provide status updates, and ensure the availability of administrative resources.

* Adapt to evolving organizational and mission priorities and provide responsive support to multiple teams.



Qualifications:

* Active Top Secret SCI Clearance and an Active Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.

* Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years' experience in a related role or an associate's degree in business administration or a similar field and a minimum of five years' experience.

* Four additional years' experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.

* Ability to interact and collaborate professionally, effectively and appropriately with senior-level government professionals and other executive staff.

* Excellent judgment, ability to work with discretion.

* Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.

* Prior experience managing complex schedules, coordinating meetings, travel plans and visitors' arrangements.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills.

* Proficiency with various office and digital tools, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
