Graphics Design Analyst

Synchron is seeking qualified candidates to support the Chief of Naval Operations Staff at the Pentagon. The position will support the OPNAV Directorate and high visibility strategic communication briefings and presentations for the Navy. The candidate must be comfortable engaging with senior Navy leadership on external communications products the Navy uses with outside stakeholders. A general overview and understanding of Navy platforms, systems, and capabilities is highly desired.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop products for visual strategy for Navy programs, campaigns, or commands
  • Produce graphics and visuals for Congressional, Secretariat, Flag and General Officer, and Command-level briefings and presentations.
  • Translate complex, classified, or technical information into clear visual communications
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, public affairs officers, and program managers
  • Design materials aligned with Navy and DoW branding and leadership guidance
  • Other tasks as assigned


Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Graphic Design or equivalent coursework. Previous Graphic Design experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • 7-10+ years professional graphic design experience in technical illustration, infographics, data visualization, and integration of video/motion graphics. Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), PowerPoint (advanced master templates, animation, data visualization), and other current graphic development software. Strong typography, layout, and color theory mastery.
  • Familiarity with Navy Surface and Fleet organization and Command messaging structures.
  • Ability to work within rigid brand standards and tight timelines with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Active secret clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen


Preferred Qualifications: Experience designing for both print and secure digital environments. 3-5+ years in U.S. Navy, DoD, federal government, or defense contracting environment. Prior experience supporting Fleet commands, Program offices (PEO), or Training commands or operational units. Active/Current Secret security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance (Current Top Secret preferred).

Work Location: This position works onsite daily.
