We are looking to hire a caring physician who will work as Center Medical Director at one of our onsite medical center in Louisville, KY.

Onsite clinical care offers many advantages including the opportunity to develop strong relationships with the employees/dependents and to coach them to live healthier lives. You will work as a team with two other clinicians, a center manager (Center Operations Director), several medical assistants, dietician, and an internal physical therapist. You will also have the opportunity to get out into the office facility in order to learn more about the employees, participate with wellness events, and assess factors that impact their health. This role is a truly unique experience focusing on patient well-being and clinical care.

At Concentra, our Medical Directors spend most of their time clinically treating patients; the remaining time is focused on quality improvements and building the center business with the Center Leadership Team. This role offers an opportunity for physicians to blend their love of patient care with their management skills, working for the leader in the workplace health industry.

Responsibilities

    * Spends 100% of time in the onsite clinic providing direct patient care, leading by example, and creating an exceptional patient experience

    * Ensures day-to-day execution of Concentra's clinical model collaborating with members of the healthcare team to drive optimal clinical outcomes

    * Accountable for monitoring, understanding, and effecting key onsite clinic metrics that relate to quality outcomes

    o Advanced Primary Care - chronic condition management, gaps in care, preventive health and age appropriate screenings, vaccinations, SDOH, wellness initiatives, clinic utilization and patient satisfaction

    o Occupational Medicine - timely return to work measures after an injury on the job, case duration, lost time, work duty status, reduction in work-related illnesses and improved functional capacity.

    * Manages staff clinicians and support staff and complies with APC supervisory requirements

    * Creates a professional and collaborative working environment with full colleague participation that promotes teamwork, quality, exceptional outcomes, and patient and colleague safety and engagement

    * Works with DMO and onsite leadership to identify and implement changes to ensure continuous clinical improvement

    * Masters use of clinical systems to ensure efficiency, excellent supportive documentation, and follow-through on all patient care orders

    * Ensures compliance with local, State, and Federal Practice Act/Rules and Regulations/WC Regulations

    * Drives patient and client experience metrics.

    * Actively participates in meetings with the client where/when applicable

    * Attend and actively participate in monthly Clinician meetings and all other meetings as scheduled by the market leadership team.

    * Works with DMO and onsite leadership team to manage clinical and support staffing levels and proficiencies that will optimize patient satisfaction, workflows, and efficiencies

    * Promotes, cultivates, and exemplifies Orange Book values for all onsite colleagues

    * Develops colleague success through all aspects of the talent life cycle for staff clinicians and support staff within the center

    * Fosters an environment of collaboration, professionalism, patient/colleague safety, quality care, continuous improvement and reward and recognition

    * Leads and promotes collaboration within the onsite leadership team to achieve clinical and business outcomes

Qualifications

Education Level: Doctorate Degree

Major: Medicine

Degree must be from an accredited college or university.

Education Details:

* Graduate of an accredited medical program with a M.D. or D.O.

Certifications and/or Licenses:

* Board certification/ Board Eligible by ABMS/AOA preferred

* Meets State Licensure requirements.

* BLS Certified,
