General Job Description: Reports to and receives assignments, instructions and direction from the R&D Hemostasis Supervisor and/or R&D Director. Responsible for running diagnostic tests, general lab and instrument maintenance, research bench work related to Hemostasis, lab documentation and technical services support. Phlebotomy duties are on an as needed basis when requested by R&D and Technical Services. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required PPE. Performs various other duties and activities as directed by the Company Vice President. Must meet all elements of the Helena Standards Pertaining to All Jobs, Job Classification Standards – Job Requirements Matrix and General Job Requirements. Experience: Basic lab skills, blood specimen collection, and Microsoft experience preferred. Education, Training and Skills: College Degree in Chemistry or Biology is preferred.
