Senior Finance Manager - Data Center Deals

The Cloud Infra andSupply Execution (CISE) finance team is an exciting and fast-evolving finance team at theforefront of Microsoft's Cloud-first strategy. The CISE finance team is responsible for supporting delivering cloud capacity at the right time,right place and right cost. We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager - Data Center Innovation and Strategy to support financial planning and controllership for DatacenterDesign and Office of CO+I CTO.

• Support monthly/quarterly processes around close, forecasting, budget, and long-range planning functions across Datacenter Finance team and orchestrate more broadly across the finance organization
• Support capital approval processes to support our growing Cloud businessPartner with engineering leaders on DC design, costing, value engineering and capital investments needed

• Ability to collaborate and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, influencing across multiple complex organization, and creating effecting partnerships. Ability to achieve results through both individual and cross team efforts, to manage multiple projects at the same time, and to work effectively under deadline constraints
• Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling and analysis. Problem-solving attitude. Experience in influencing decisions and developing strategic plans. Ability to "think outside the box" and not be hindered by how things have been done in the past.
• Willing to go the extra mile. Self-directed, resourceful and willing to roll-up sleeves as needed. Proven ability to drive projects and analysis to closure in a collaborative and matrixed environment
• Expertise in financial planning and analysis, including: analysis, forecasting, planning, reporting, and developing financial models.
• Written and verbal communications translating financial analysis and insights into meaningful and actionable business communications and recommendationsAdvanced Excel and Office skills

Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
