What you'll do:

Field Service
Technician - EV

The
Field Service Technician position is responsible for supporting field issue
resolution for customer electric vehicles. This includes mechanical and
electrical support, troubleshooting, test driving and data acquisition. Field
service support entails supporting customer vehicles that require warranty
work, installation/retrofit of components, troubleshooting and resolution of
issues both mechanical and electrical in nature.

JOB
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Instrument or support technicians with instrumentation for testing
Ensures accurate record of measurement data
Provides technical support for testing and customer vehicles
Conducting routine equipment servicing out in the field.
Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment failures.
Repairing equipment and replacing faulty parts.
Installing and testing new equipment.
Providing preventive equipment maintenance.
Performs work with minimal supervision
Communicate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and meet objectives
Complete proper forms and documentation
Ability to travel 50-75% of the time, including driving and flying
Other tasks as assigned

What you need to be successful:

QUALIFICATIONS:
HS Diploma or GED required (Associate technical degree preferred)
Proven experience as a Field Service Technician
Experience with the construction of Walk-In, Truck Bodies and Van Upfit vehicles, including wiring and mechanical troubleshooting.
Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
Valid
Driver's license.
Possess, or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport and be able to enter Canada and Mexico.
Pass DOT Physical.
