What We Need: We are looking for Designer 2 to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings team. The Designer 2 will deliver expert design, specification, and rendering services to diverse trade partners and customers, utilizing extensive product knowledge and innovative approaches to create complex 2D/3D drawings, bills of materials, and renderings. Assists with design projects, ensuring timely completion of deliverables that exceed client and stakeholder expectations. What You Will Do: Ability to create, recommend, and specify specification projects with custom products. Provides consultative selling support toassistfield sales and trade partnerswithproduct recommendations. Hosts specification training, virtual or in-person, to trade partner dealer designers. Collaborate on agenda and learning content with various internal departments. Provide mentorship to Design Interns, Design Associates, and Designer 1 roles. Participates in process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities and supporting change in the department. Assists Design Manager in strategic projects as needed. Participatein activities asappropriate toensure the success of the organization. What You Have: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related fieldrequired. At least3years of relevant experiencerequired;5years of experience preferred.
