As a Security Officer - Telecom Campus Driver Patrol in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed driving patrol officer at a fast-paced tech location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service requests. You will document observations, assist with access control, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and communicating updates per site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office, data/telecom areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials as required, and directing visitors, contractors, and deliveries according to site procedures.
• Complete routine reports and logs, monitor alarms and surveillance systems as assigned, and coordinate with site contacts and public responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
