You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls while documenting activity and communicating clearly with site leadership. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a tech and/or media campus environment.
  • Carry and maintain issued firearms and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal policies while performing armed patrol duties.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events, notifying appropriate contacts, and coordinating with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, parking areas, and building perimeters to help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or disruptive activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Operate access control processes such as checking credentials, verifying authorized visitors and/or contractors, monitoring alarms and cameras, and completing written and/or electronic reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 3 or more years of experience as military police, a corrections officer, armed security, and/or be a certified law enforcement graduate.
  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Be able to type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
