As Press Brake Operator you are responsible for the setup and operation of our press brake machines to bend, fabricate, and form metal according to specifications.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate press brake machines to produce parts per blueprints and work orders
  • Perform daily machine startup and shutdown procedures
  • Select proper tooling and ensure accurate machine settings for each job
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and job orders
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laser equipment and designated work area
  • Inspect finished parts for accuracy using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Requirements

  • Successfuly pass a skills-based assessment - evaluates your reading, math, inspections & measurement, attention to detail, and problem solving skills
  • 1-2 years experience of press brake experience required
  • Basic math skills including conversions
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Ability to adapt, multitask, and prioritize in an environment that is rapidly changing
  • Ability to have high attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Succesful candidates will be enrolled in a registered apprenticeship program as part of their onboarding


Wage: $25.19 - $27.99 hourly. A starting hourly wage higher than $25.19 is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.


Hours: 2nd shift hours are Monday through Thursday 5pm to 3am
