As Press Brake Operator you are responsible for the setup and operation of our press brake machines to bend, fabricate, and form metal according to specifications. Roles and Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake machines to produce parts per blueprints and work orders Perform daily machine startup and shutdown procedures Select proper tooling and ensure accurate machine settings for each job Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and job orders Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laser equipment and designated work area Inspect finished parts for accuracy using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc. Follow all company safety policies and procedures All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice Requirements Successfuly pass a skills-based assessment - evaluates your reading, math, inspections & measurement, attention to detail, and problem solving skills 1-2 years experience of press brake experience required Basic math skills including conversions Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Ability to adapt, multitask, and prioritize in an environment that is rapidly changing Ability to have high attention to detail Excellent oral and written communication skills Succesful candidates will be enrolled in a registered apprenticeship program as part of their onboarding Wage: $25.19 - $27.99 hourly. A starting hourly wage higher than $25.19 is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.
