Under the general supervision of the Financial and Administrative Officer (FAO), the Financial Analyst provides professional-level financial, budgetary, and administrative support to the Departments of Creative Writing, Dance, Music, Theatre, Film & Digital Production, and Performing Arts Administration. The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the accounting and fiscal management of multiple funding sources, including state, grant, and sales & service funds (e.g., concert ticket revenue). Serving as the primary financial advisor to the FAO, the Analyst conducts detailed budget analysis, prepares meaningful financial reports, provides comprehensive budget information, and supports long-range financial planning for all five departments. Additional responsibilities include serving as the HR/Payroll Coordinator for staff and student employment across all departments and providing payroll guidance to Academic Coordinators. The Analyst also supports operational functions of the Performing Arts Administration office, including space and key management. The Analyst serves as a resource on University financial and administrative policies, promotes best practices, and provides backup support to team members as needed.
The full salary range for this position is $70,824.96 - $103,585.68 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements. | |
