Overview

Manages the day-to-day operations of all key systems across Commercial Lending. Acts as a liaison for the department between the business line users, vendors, and internal departments across the bank. Manages all required testing, updates, training, and support. In addition, overseas with the team all active projects across Commercial Lending that are managed both in the business line and with partnership with the Project Management Office.



Responsibilities

Essential Functions

    Receives system issue reports across all Commercial Lending systems from users and provides guidance and support. Escalates issues to Bancorp IT team and/or Vendors for research and resolution.
  1. Builds and maintains user roles within Commercial Lending systems to support key risk and SOX controls; reviews and approves all role changes for existing staff and assigns new staff the correct role following established Security procedures.
  2. Conducts as needed meetings to discuss issues; system updates; new requests for functionality. Completes testing on system updates; coordinates testing by other teams and collects results; reports testing results and monitors updates after installation.
  3. Schedules, monitors, and maintains the end-of-day reporting across all required systems with assistance of administrative team.
  4. Coordinates meetings with system users to collect detailed input for enhancements. Meets on a regular basis with assigned vendors to discuss enhancements and interfaces; prioritize projects; and monitor progress for in-process projects.
  5. Overseas all business line projects across Commercial Lending. Assists in development of project requirements, sponsors, oversight, and implementation needs. Works across business and any internal or external partners to support.
  6. Assists with the development and oversight of all procedures across Commercial Lending Provides training support in conjunction with business line teams, as requested, for any adjustments or new procedures.
  7. Maintains system-related policies, standards and protocols for existing products and services and completes annual procedure review.
  8. Monitors all reporting across Commercial Lending and provides support for report issues.
  9. Coordinates with outside vendors to manage contract provisions and any needed changes to existing vendor relationships.
  10. Assists team where applicable with monthly, quarterly, or annual audit, SOX testing, and other Compliance related requirements including data collection needs.
  11. Assists with maintaining location Disaster Recover Plans.
  12. Serves as resource for month end financial reporting. Provide support to Finance, Credit Risk, and other internal third parties to support daily operations.
  13. Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • 10 years of project management or operations experience, including reviewing contracts and general business communications, accounting and reporting requirements, systems maintenance.

  • Superior organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A team player, able to work effectively in a team fostered, multi-tasking environment and able to lead a team to successful project completion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and FIS.
  • Proficient in the technical and operational aspects of a Lease or Loan accounting system, such as LeaseWave, and related software programs, such as Vertex or PTMS.
  • Occasional travel (approximately once per quarter).
