As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with calm customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured doors, and policy concerns; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, unauthorized persons, and requests for assistance from clinical and administrative teams.
  • Monitor access points and help manage visitor flow by verifying authorization, providing directions, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with location procedures.
  • Complete required reports and logs, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and location contacts, and assist with coordination during fire, severe weather, and other emergency events as directed by post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • This position involves working in a hospital setting with vaccines.
  • This position involves working in a hospital morgue.
  • Proof of a high school diploma and/or GED is required by the client.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
