As a Security Officer - Industrial Gatehouse in North Liberty, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, support visitor check-in, and document security-related activity using a computer and/or tablet. You will remain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, and communicate clearly with team members and site personnel to help reduce incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at an industrial manufacturing location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing and/or collecting visitor credentials, maintaining access logs, and directing arrivals to authorized locations.
• Monitor and respond to alarms, access control events, and policy violations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating incidents through established communication and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Screen and coordinate the movement of deliveries and vehicles through designated gates and docks by checking documentation, observing load areas as assigned, and reporting irregularities to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
