Security Officer - Office Tower Access Control

As a Security Officer - Office Tower Access Control in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer supporting an access control post at a commercial real estate location, you will help manage entry points, check credentials, issue and verify badges, and monitor security-related activity using site technology. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage incidents, and deliver customer-focused assistance with clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the property by verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining access logs, and directing guests to the appropriate location.
• Monitor entry points, gates, and loading areas, and report suspicious activity and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting events according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting irregular conditions, securing doors as needed, and completing patrol and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
