National Pharmacy Practice Leader - US Health Solutions

What the day will look like

We are seeking an experienced pharmacy executive recognized as a visionary in the pharmacy marketplace, with a proven track record of leading a dynamic pharmacy consulting and solutions business and established relationships with PBMs and other pharmacy stakeholders. This senior-level executive will drive business growth, mentor and manage a high-performing team, and champion innovation in pharmacy solutions, and drive the evolution of our services suite.

Business Strategy & Innovation

  • Create a forward-looking strategy for evolving our pharmacy consulting services, including coalition purchasing solutions to lead the market in a rapidly changing landscape
  • Translate strategy to a service and solution roadmap to drive growth and viable margins
  • Maintain executive-level relationships with key market stakeholders

Thought Leadership

  • Provide thought leadership at a national level; be recognized as a "brand" sought out by clients, prospects, and colleagues for advice.
  • Be recognized internally and externally as an innovator in the pharmacy consulting industry.

Sales Growth

  • Create and execute a multi-year growth plan for Aon's pharmacy business across all stakeholders-employers, health plans, consumers, and other critical purchasers. Drive pharmacy sales and revenue growth by expanding current client relationships and pursuing new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other leaders within Health and across Aon on cross-practice sales.

People Leadership and Delivery

  • Recruit, retain, and engage a high-performing, diverse team.
  • Create effective collaboration and communication between the pharmacy practice, clinical and other specialty practices and the core Health Solutions regional teams
  • Act as a trusted advisor to internal and external clients and colleagues.
  • Create vision, organizational structure, and execution plan for efficient, scalable and profitable delivery of pharmacy consulting and solutions.

Skills and Experience That Will Lead to Success

  • Visionary leader with track record of building and scaling innovative services and solutions in the pharmacy space
  • Extensive experience in pharmacy leadership, including management of colleagues and leading pharmacy advisory strategies and solution development.
  • Proven ability to engage key market stakeholders (employers, health plans, PBMs, etc.) at an executive level and establish trusted relationships.
  • Track record of successful collaboration across multiple functions and experience levels.

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field preferred.
  • Postgraduate degree or comparable business experience.
  • PharmD professional degree preferred, but not required

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $350,000 to $380,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.

Aon offers a comprehensive package of benefits for full-time and regular part-time colleagues, including, but not limited to: a 401(k) savings plan with employer contributions; an employee stock purchase plan; consideration for long-term incentive awards at Aon's discretion; medical, dental and vision insurance. This role does not accrue vacation. Rather, this role is eligible to take paid time off at the discretion of the employee and management in accordance with company policy and practices.
