At Epiroc USA LLC as a Continuous Improvement Team, our vision is to define and develop a continuous improvement culture and program within the company. The mission for Epiroc US Continuous Improvement Team is to contribute to the development and performance of Dare to think New! The main objective is to strengthen Epiroc processes, making the team more efficient while strengthening our customer feedback. The Continuous Improvement Team will strive to enhance trust and confidence in the company through placing an emphasis on a strong Lean and continuous improvement culture and strategy. The team will collaborate with various staff and departments as needed to ensure that outputs are accurate, easy to understand and utilize.

The work environment includes office and warehouse area settings. The office work environment is representative of what an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job within an office environment. The noise level in the office work environment is usually low to moderate. In the mining work environment, CI Specialists may be regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outdoor weather conditions. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Noise protection may be required in this role. This position is considered Safety Sensitive.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for all Continuous Improvement functions, including, but not limited to:



  • Serve as a Change Agent coach across all Epiroc divisions and external stakeholders
  • Communicate relatively complex analyses and concepts into "Everyday" framework with a "dare to think new" approach
  • Take a process approach to CI with proven lean methodology's (such as DMAIC, ISO, Total Quality Management, Kaizen, 5S, PDCA, etc.)
  • Develop and facilitate learning exercises, experiments and workshops
  • Understand basic mining methods, equipment requirements and manufacturing and construction industries
  • Access and manipulate data from multiple enterprise systems
  • Develop management systems components, including policies and procedures and visual management system tools (such as Dashboards, Process Control Charts, Value Stream Maps, Kanban, Pulse Boards, etc.)
  • Develop, maintain and audit SOPs and Ways of Working to be more efficient and effective
  • Ensure that local project /strategy aligns with Corporate long-term goals and Epiroc Way



Education/Skills:




  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Rising Junior or Senior as of Spring 2026
  • High level of computer proficiency, experience working in MS office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, SharePoint and Teams
  • Highly developed collaboration skills, ability to work within a team and independently
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
  • Have the capability of managing projects from start to finish
  • Maintain a courteous, professional demeanor and open communication with internal and external customers at all times
  • The successful candidate must be willing to temporarily relocate to the Denver, CO area to participate in the internship
  • Travel may be required up to 25% of the time

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $20 and $23 hourly, depending on experience and qualifications. This range reflects our commitment to fair pay based on skills, experience, and market standards.
