An Electrical Engineer job opportunity is available with our client in Huntsville, AL. In this role you will be responsible to lead initial board bring-up activities for new carrier card integrations. To be considered for this role a successful candidate will demonstrate strong measurement techniques that avoid introducing noise or loading effects and apply rigorous problem-solving approaches to isolate and resolve hardware issues efficiently.

Electrical Engineer Job Duties
*Hands-on experience to lead initial board bring-up activities for new carrier card integrations.
*Deep expertise in power integrity analysis, systematic debug methodologies, and hardware troubleshooting at the component level.
*Proficiency with laboratory test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and logic analyzers, along with the ability to interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and design documentation to verify proper power sequencing, voltage rail integrity, and signal paths.
*Successful candidates will demonstrate strong measurement techniques that avoid introducing noise or loading effects and apply rigorous problem-solving approaches to isolate and resolve hardware issues efficiently.
Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Education
*Excellent documentation practices, clear communication with cross-functional teams including test engineers and firmware developers.
*Methodical approach to hardware validation ensures boards are properly characterized and ready for firmware integration.
*Bachelor"s degree in electrical engineering or related field is required, with preference given to candidates who have experience as original board designers and can leverage design intent knowledge during bring-up activities
*5+ years" experience preferred.
