Summary of Primary Functions: Operate one mixer for maximum production to BDS. Ensure that concrete is batched on a timely basis with minimal downtime. Machines, Tools, and Equipment Used: Concrete mixer, computer terminal, printer, calculator, batch sheets, conveyors, hoppers, power tools, high pressure water nozzles, two-way radio, grease gun, etc. Materials Used: Gray and architectural cement, aggregate, sand admixtures, water, etc. Supervision Received: Reports to Batch Plant Supervisor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibration.
