This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency.

The Technician II, Sterile Production Operations (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for handling complex technical tasks in processing ingredients and pharmaceutical products. You will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, manage raw materials and finished products, and perform general maintenance at the North Manufacturing site in Fort Worth, TX.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Handle complex technical tasks related to processing ingredients and pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements

  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment such as autoclaves, ovens, stills, filtration apparatus, and sterile filling equipment

  • Manage raw materials and finished products

  • Perform general maintenance

  • Follow standard operating procedures and maintain records

  • Participate in quality checks and process improvement initiatives

  • All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training

  • Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization

  • Compliance with regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

  • Work hours: 2nd Shift; (3:30PM-12:00AM), Monday - Friday (CST)

  • Location: Onsite

  • Travel Requirements: 0%
