JOB SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

The Regional Business Manager (RBM) is a cross-functional business leader responsible for driving strategic regional growth, strengthening partner relationships, and elevating performance across Audibel. This role serves as a trusted advisor and business consultant to practice owners and key decision makers-providing strategic market insights, operational guidance, financial analysis, and best-practice implementation support.

The RBM leads regional development plans, drives adoption of field programs (including Business Excellence material), oversees contract and program performance, and ensures consistent execution of business strategies that support revenue growth, profitability, and long-term partner success. The position requires proactive field leadership, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence teams and customers across all three networks. This hybrid role requires approximately 75% travel and 25% office time.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership & Regional Business Growth



  • Develop and execute strategic business plans for the region that drive sales, market penetration, and partner growth across Audibel.


  • Analyze regional performance metrics, competitive data, and market trends to shape territory strategy and inform decision-making.


  • Serve as a field consultant-guiding partners through pricing strategy, operational efficiency improvements, organizational development, and profitability management.


    Rollout & Execution of The Business Excellence Program



    • Lead the regional launch, adoption, and execution of the Business Excellence best practices.


    • Influence partners to integrate best practices in:


    • Marketing and patient acquisition


    • PPA training


    • Sales strategies


    • Retention strategies


    • Goal-setting and KPI alignment


    • Ensure partners understand and leverage financial benchmarking and performance insights.


    Sales Growth & Network Recruitment



    • Identify and recruit high-quality new partners that align with Audibel criteria.


    • Collaborate closely with the Audibel/Starkey Sales team to align messages, coordinate field strategy, and identify high-potential prospects.


    • Conduct annual ride-alongs with Sales Representatives to create unified messaging and support key account development.


    • Participate in regional and territorial marketing meetings to share updates and influence cross-functional alignment.


    Field Operations, Contract Oversight & Compliance



    • Oversee monitoring, renewal, and compliance of Audibel agreements.


    • Ensure partners adhere to program standards, business requirements, and operational expectations.


    • Maintain a disciplined operating rhythm-including biweekly communication with every owner and a minimum of six in-office visits per licensed fitter annually.


    Performance Tracking, Reporting & Documentation



    • Maintain accurate, timely records of partner communication, performance insights, and coaching plans.


    • Provide transparent, ongoing progress reports to partners and leadership.


    Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration



    • Serve as a liaison between the field and internal teams-including Inside Sales, Marketing, Finance, and OMS.


    • Share market insights and partner feedback to influence program enhancements, strategic planning, and network evolution.


    Additional Responsibilities



    • Support onboarding and integration for all new network partners.


    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Starkey products, competitive landscape, and industry trends.


    • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.


    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Minimum Education, Certification and Experience Requirements

    Education (i.e. 4-year college degree, license, certification)



    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.


    • Experience (i.e. years of work experience related to the job)


    • 7+ years of progressive experience in sales, business consulting, practice management, or related field.


    • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior decision-makers.


    • Strong understanding of medical practice operations or hearing healthcare preferred.



    Knowledge / Technical Requirements

    Knowledge of hearing industry and difficulties the private-private customers encounter

    Strong financial literacy, including the ability to interpret P&L statements, KPI dashboards, and operational metrics.



    • Understanding of hearing healthcare industry dynamics and private-practice challenges.


    • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and business analysis tools.

    Salary:

    The annual salary for this position is between $86,240.00 -$131,880.00/ year. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is eligible for a bonus based upon performance results. There is no guarantee of payout.
