Your future role "Take on a new challenge and apply your high-voltage technical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside dedicated and detail-oriented teammates. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of high-voltage systems within the railroad equipment industry. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Technical Engineers, Shop Supervisors, and cross-functional departments), assist in building bench test equipment, and perform validations and repairs on a wide range of electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems, and much more." We'll look to you for:
Adhering to established safety procedures in the Technical Work Center and New Castle Facility.,
Assembling, validating, and repairing equipment within the high voltage domain.,
Conducting validation, repair, and testing on wire harness assemblies.,
Assembling and repairing electrical and mechanical systems, including wiring, connectors, and contractors.,
Performing flow testing and working in a high voltage facility.,
Operating test equipment to validate harness assemblies.,
Assisting with building bench test equipment.,
Safely using and operating power tools, hand tools, and precision measuring devices.,
Utilizing MS Office programs, including Access, for creating reports and analysis.,
Inputting and tracking completed tasks in SAP."

Degree in Vocational/Technical studies or equivalent experience in electronics or related field. ,
Experience or understanding of high voltage testing and validation processes. ,
Knowledge of standard electronic test equipment such as Digital Volt Meters, Oscilloscopes, and High Voltage DC & AC power supplies. ,
Familiarity with reading and interpreting schematics and technical documentation. ,
NFPA70E certification or equivalent communication and safety training. ,
Strong understanding of electronic principles, circuit design, and testing procedures. ,
Problem-solving capacity, including technical and cost evaluation of solutions. ,
Effective communication and interpersonal skills. ,
Attention to detail and the ability to work independently. ,
A strong desire to learn and adapt to new challenges.
