External candidates for this position are eligible for a $1000 gross sign on bonus to be paid after 60 days and another $1000 after 180 days of continuous employment. Overview and Responsibilities Repair Technician - Mechanical & Technical Equipment Job Summary Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy working with your hands to solve problems? Join our team as a Repair Technician, where your skills will be put to work diagnosing, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining specialized healthcare equipment. You'll play a critical role in ensuring devices are safe, functional, and meet both manufacturer and company standards. This position pays between $19/hr to $20.50/hr. depending on related experience. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electronic issues in healthcare devices Calibrating equipment to precise specifications using manufacturer guidelines Maintaining tools and testing equipment to ensure accurate repairs Documenting work including parts used, labor, calibration results, and device status Troubleshooting equipment and providing technical support to other teams Keeping your workspace clean and organized, and disinfecting equipment regularly Staying current with manufacturer certifications and training Managing inventory through cycle counts and physical movement of devices Collaborating with manufacturers to ensure software and calibration procedures are up to date Why Join Us?
