Overview

R&P is looking for a mid-level professional who wants to join our US Navy PMS 377 Production Support Team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Logistics Analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.



Responsibilities

Providing Logistic Support and provide knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support, specifically experience with Amphious Damage Control Systems. Must be:

    Good working knowledge of shipboard fire protection and suppression systems related to Navy platforms and systems such as Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF), Halon/Heptafluoropropane (HFP), Water Mist, Magazine and Miscellaneous Sprinkling Systems, Shipboard flooding, and Fire into ship analysis.
  • Good working knowledge of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) defense, Conflagration and Firefighting, Ballistic protection, and Watertight Integrity.
  • Ability to ship check and provide onboard validations.
  • Familiarity interpreting and applying relevant military standards
  • Familiarity with US Navy processes and procedures
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Review and distribute Planned Maintenance System (PMS) documentation
  • Retrieve and analyze data using the PMS viewer, CDMD-OA, Maintenance Index Pages (MIP), Maintenance Requirements Cards (MRC), Allowance Equipment Lists (AEL), Allowance Parts Lists (APL), Technical Manuals (TM), and drawings
  • Identify design deficiencies and develop recommendations for solutions
  • Familiarity with key stakeholders and customers located in shipbuilding industry and relevant government entities such as Naval Surface Warfare Centers, NAVSEA, OPNAV, etc.


Qualifications

  • High School with 4+ years of relevant work experience in the arena of ship recoverability and/or damage control

  • Previous experience in Damage Control for surface combatant and/or submarine ship

  • Strong technical writing and written and oral communication skills

  • At least 2 years supporting the US Navy
  • U.S. Citizen and must currently hold a US SECRET security clearance
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 15% of time

Salary
