Reporting to the Finance Manager, theAccountingAnalystassistswith all finance and accounting aspects of the subsidiary, partnering with the business management team to drive revenue growth, manufacturing performance, and return on investments to meet financialobjectives. Key areas of focus forthe incumbentinclude assisting with monthly performance analysis and reporting, product costing analysis from manufacturing operations,AP and AR accounting functions, and cost reduction projects. This rolewill be primarily accountingfocused, butwill support HR and other members of the leadershipteampart of the time.Flexibility, willingness to learn,and business partnership skillswill be key to success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Handles AR and AP functions.

  • Assistswith the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process by preparing monthly financial close workbooks.

  • Maintains inter-company transactions, billings, and reconciliation.

  • Collects time sheet data and works with HR and Finance to produce weekly and monthly labor reporting and analysis.

  • Assiststeam members with inventory management and cycle counting.

  • Helps prepare for annual physical inventory.

  • Performsvarious office management tasks as needed.

  • Assists HR with clerical duties

  • Coordinate and execute lunch orders for internal meetings and visitingguests.

  • Contributes to the implementation, maintenance, and adherence to internal controls under SOX and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP.

  • Produces complex journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll.

  • Assistsin the preparationandanalysisofmonthly balance sheets and income statements for reporting by management upon request; takespart in special projects and impromptu reporting.

  • Assistsin overseeing depreciation, fixed asset ledgers.

  • Assistswith annual audit preparations.

  • Assistswith preparing and monitoring budgets.

  • Investigates and resolves audit findings, accountdiscrepanciesand issues of noncompliance.

  • Supports andtrainsstaff asrequiredor assigned.

  • Demonstrated ability to link and analyze plant operational metrics to financialperformance.

  • Strong interpersonal and team building skillsincludingthe ability to interact comfortably and respectfully with all levels of plant and corporatepersonnel.

  • Client-drivenwith strong attention to detail & capable of deliveringaccurate, quality results ina timely,consistent& professionalmanner.

  • Well-developed computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications(esp. Excel).

  • Experience with SAP or EPICOR isadvantageous, though not mandatory.

  • Power BI a plus

  • Must be detail oriented.

Plant Environment - This positionoperatesin a manufacturing setting and can be subject to extreme cold and hot temperatures; uneven walking surfaces with cords, tools, and other obstacles;intermittent loud noises; and dusty or dirty conditions.Required PPE includeshardhat(whenrequired), safety glasses, earplugs, steel toe/composite boots, and fall protection.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree infinance or accountingrequired; 4+years ofrelevantwork experience in a manufacturingaccounting/finance role may be consideredin lieu of a degree.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Experience inAR / APpreferred.

  • Experience in ERP systems, EPICOR, SAP,orAriba preferred.
