Rutgers University-Camden is seeking Client Coaches for the School of Business Small Business Development Center (
RSBDC) to support the growth and success of small businesses throughout the region. This role focuses on providing high-quality advising, training, and outreach services while contributing to the Center's broader mission, partnerships, and performance goals.
Job Duties include:
- Utilizing critical thinking and analytical expertise to create customized strategies tailored to each small business client's specific needs through individualized one-on-one counseling
- Developing and delivering group training sessions and webinars to disseminate knowledge and resources, depending on area(s) of specialty
- Collaborating closely with other NJSBDC counselors to provide comprehensive client support
- Staying informed on emerging trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices relevant to the assigned specialty area
- Delivering on assigned metrics for federal and state requirements
- Engaging in activities that facilitate cross-functional coordination, stakeholder communication, and the ongoing alignment of programmatic efforts with strategic objectives
- Maintaining and creating new productive working relationships with key statewide small business stakeholders
- Tracking and reporting on outreach and consulting activities, ensuring compliance with organizational guidelines
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, fostering collaboration and trust throughout the consulting process

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
Minimum education/experience required:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of three to five years of relevant professional experience in consulting, advisory, and business needs.
