Title: MDS Team Leader East Region

Do you enjoy leading and motivating others to deliver successful solutions for business and customers?

As a MDS Team Leader East Region, you will be responsible for:

* Manage and direct regional team of 6+ Field Engineers.

* Own skillset and competency development for your region (with support from MDS Service Manager and Technical Leader).

* Coach regional MDS Engineers in the generation of technical papers, case studies, and customer success stories.

* Provide VOC feedback to MDS Service Manager.

* Manage and present portions of monthly MDS Team calls as it pertains to your region.

* Manage and present portions of bimonthly MDS Operations calls as it pertains to your region (HSE, Billable Time, Training/Certifications).

* Drive MDS growth amongst the team and assist MDS Services Manager with functions relating to MDS growth strategies, offerings and skillset development for the East region.

* Manage support to Customer Service Managers and Fulfillment Managers with certified MDS Engineer resource allocation and ensure billability targets are achieved by MDS engineers in your region.

* Manage support to regional Fulfillment Managers in the creation of customer reactive MDS quotes.

* Serve as single point of contact to the customer, customer team, and all other BH stakeholders for MDS services in your region.

* Ensure quality of MDS Services Execution regionally, including but not limited to:

  • Release of MDS reports for compliance to best practices and assure process and documentation needs are met.

  • Technical support and assistance, as required, to MDS Engineers during job execution.

  • Tracking field report submission and monitoring customer satisfaction.

  • Confirm that MDS engineers are fully equipped with the required tools to carry out the jobs and that they are responsible for ensuring the tools are calibrated.

  • Provide On-the-Job-Training, coaching, and mentoring of MDS Engineers for certification.

* Identify training needs to ensure internal and external certifications are in place to perform required work.

* Other duties as required

To be successful in this role you will:

* Have Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering a plus).

* Have 10+ years of field engineering industry experience ideally in Machinery Diagnostics, Vibration Analysis and Dynamics.

* Have working knowledge API Standards / API 670 / ISO Standards.

* Have ISO certification for vibration analysis.

* Have demonstrated rotating machinery experience in one or more of industries served by BN products, including but not limited to power generation, oil & gas, chemical, pulp & paper, mining, or others.

* Have understanding of machinery design and demonstrated ability to work on rotating machinery issues.

* Have demonstrated leadership abilities.

* Have exceptionally strong customer service mindset.

* Have solid verbal and written communication skills, ability to read and write English.

* Have possessed a valid driver's license and have a good driving record. Have a valid passport (or be able to obtain one).

* Have eligibility to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credential).

* Able to read, understand, and follow detailed schematics, assembly drawings, and assembly procedures.

* Self-starter with minimal supervision requirement; able to work independently; ability to prioritize, organize work, and meet deadlines.

* Have ability to travel and achieve billable time of 20%.

* Have computer skills with familiarity with MS Office products.

* Have demonstrated authority and assurance in dealing with people.

* Have availability to travel on short notice.

Desired:

* Graduate degree in engineering

* Theoretical and practical knowledge of Reliability Services.

* Knowledge of ADRE Software and System1 EVO.

The annual pay scale for this position is between $1,05,880.00 - $2,38,050.00.

Candidates for this role (office-based/ hybrid/ remote) must be located in or near the locations displayed above. The pay range/scale displayed above represents Baker Hughes' good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position at the time of this posting and applies to the possible locations for this position. Baker Hughes will issue a non-bias competitive offer; the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hires, full-time salaries in some U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. Where an applicant will ultimately fall within the pay range/scale depends on a variety of factors, including, for example, geographic work location, skillset, qualifications, internal pay alignment, level of experience, and demonstrated performance over time. Please keep in mind that the range stated above is the full base salary range for the role and does not include other forms of compensation.
