Security Officer - Media Facility - Full Time

As a Security Officer - Media Facility - Full Time in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will use your valid driver's license to support mobile patrol coverage and timely response. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a tech, media, and/or telecom location by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, watching for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or other building systems as assigned, and communicate observations to the appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, initiating notifications, and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Document patrols, incidents, and customer interactions in written reports and/or electronic logs, and participate in shift briefings and pass-downs to support consistent site coverage.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
