Job Description




As a Security Officer - Flex Armed Branch Driver in Glendale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, and respond to security-related concerns with strong customer service and clear communication. You will help to protect people, property, and assets through attentive presence, accurate reporting, and teamwork aligned with Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity. This is an armed and driving post requiring an armed guard card/license and a valid driver's license.

Position Type: Flex, with ability to pick up hours at this site.

Pay Rate: $26.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service at a financial institution location by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Perform armed patrol duties, maintaining proper weapon retention, following post orders and applicable laws, and reporting any unusual activity through the chain of command.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the interior, exterior, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized entry, theft, and/or other suspicious activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including monitoring alarms, observing surveillance systems when assigned, and coordinating with local law enforcement and/or management.
  • Complete detailed security-related reports, incident logs, and shift documentation, and communicate observations and recommendations to onsite leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2+ years of security experience is required.
  • An armed guard card/license is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
