You will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms and calls for assistance, and provide calm, respectful customer service to shoppers and staff. You will communicate clearly, document activity, and work as a team with a caring culture that values integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Carry and maintain assigned duty weapon and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter theft, trespassing, and/or disruptive activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant information to onsite management and incoming personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement and/or military and/or security experience or a college degree.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
