Cyber Security Advisor, Network Security

The Cybersecurity Advisor will work supporting projects focused on security remediation at third level. To utilize technical expertise related to security issues and initiatives in the areas of network security operations and work on multiple large, highly visible projects simultaneously. Ensure network designs are implemented correctly and are being maintained in the appropriate fashion. Investigate and troubleshoot all phases of network security issues.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Required qualifications:

7 to 11 years work experience.
1. Associate degree in Computer Science and Engineering or IT Graduates with Electives on Information Security/Cyber, Security/Computer, Forensics/Ethical Hacking/Network Security.
2. Fortinet NSE 3 certification or greater
3. Basic understanding of Fortinet Firewall management
4. Basic knowledge of Forti Manager device and policy management
5. Basic knowledge of Forti Analyzer management and reporting
6. Intermediate knowledge of troubleshooting security policies
7. Intermediate knowledge of troubleshooting application layer security (UTM) functions

Preferred qualifications:

1. Good English Communication Skills (Verbal/Written)
2. Fortinet NSE 4 certification or greater
3. Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting security policies
4. Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting application layer security (UTM) functions

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $114,400.00 to $150,987.20 on an annualized basis. The compensation estimate noted above is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
