Description

    Overseeing end-to-end logistical operations including inventory control, transportation planning, and distribution coordination to ensure mission-critical material support
  • Developing and implementing logistic strategies and standard operating procedures to optimize supply chain performance in compliance with DoD requirements
  • Monitoring and analyzing logistical data to identify performance gaps and implementing corrective actions to enhance efficiency and service delivery
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to schedule material shipments, manage warehousing operations, and ensure timely replenishment
  • Preparing comprehensive logistics reports and documentation to inform senior management of operational status, risks, and opportunities for improvement

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in a logistician role
  • Three or more years of experience must be with communication systems, networks, or technologies
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and optimize complex supply chain operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution management as defined in contract requirements
  • Proficient in utilizing logistics management systems and ERP software to monitor inventory levels, schedule shipments, and manage supply chain data effectively
  • Skilled in performing logistical data analysis and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and ensure on-time delivery
  • Possess an active DoD Secret security clearance


Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with modern supply chain management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to improve efficiency and data accuracy
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills with a track record of resolving logistical bottlenecks and ensuring timely material delivery
  • Experience with lean logistics principles and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize resource allocation and process flows
  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams, with effective communication tailored to internal and external stakeholders

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
