Description

    Tracking and maintaining production schedules to ensure timely completion of deliverables and adherence to milestones outlined in DoD contracts
  • Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating procurement activities to ensure sustained workflow operations without disruptions
  • Preparing detailed production reports, documenting resource allocation, material usage, and scheduling challenges for management review
  • Coordinating with engineering, logistics, and quality assurance teams to identify and resolve issues affecting production timelines
  • Implementing production control best practices and maintaining documentation to ensure compliance with industry and contractual standards

Requirements

  • Three or more years of experience in a production control clerk role
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to track and manage production schedules, timelines, and material availability, ensuring alignment with project needs and DoD requirements
  • Skilled in utilizing logistical tracking systems and advanced software tools to monitor inventory levels, coordinate procurement, and streamline workflow operations
  • Proficient in preparing and maintaining detailed records of production activities, including material usage, workflow issues, and resource allocation
  • Possess an active DoD Secret security clearance


Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with automated production control systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools such as SAP or Oracle
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate production timelines and identify optimization strategies for enhanced operational efficiency
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to resolve production bottlenecks and implement best practices
  • Knowledge of DoD compliance standards and experience, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
