Description

    Managing end-to-end logistical operations including the coordination of material shipments, warehousing, and inventory tracking to support mission-critical supply chains
  • Overseeing the use of ERP and logistics software platforms to maintain accurate records, monitor inventory levels, and generate performance reports
  • Analyzing logistical data to identify operational inefficiencies and implements corrective actions to enhance distribution workflows
  • Coordinating with internal departments and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and adherence to quality and regulatory standards
  • Developing and refining standard operating procedures for logistical processes, driving continuous improvement and supporting overall operational readiness

Requirements

  • 10 years experience in a logisticians role
  • 1 plus years experience must be with acquisition, tracking status, reporting of parts and consumables, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage logistical operations, including inventory control, transportation scheduling, and supply chain management in alignment with DoD specifications
  • Proficient in employing logistics management and ERP software to track material movements, maintain inventory records, and generate data-driven process improvements
  • Skilled in analyzing supply chain data, conducting quality audits, and optimizing distribution methods to enhance operational readiness
  • Possess an active DoD secret security clearance


Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with modern supply chain management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to improve efficiency and data accuracy
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills with a track record of resolving logistical bottlenecks and ensuring timely material delivery
  • Experience with lean logistics principles and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize resource allocation and process flows
  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams, with effective communication tailored to internal and external stakeholders

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
